It is available now in the AppStore the app SWList for iPhone and iPad.

SWList puts the EiBi list at your disposal by helping you find and identify radio stations in the shortwave domain. The EiBi list is available thanks to the work of Eike Bierwirth and is a point of reference for the SWL world.

With SWList you can find radio stations in three different ways:- by typing the listening frequency, all the radio stations close to the entered frequency will be displayed

– view all radio stations of a specific radio band

– search for the name of the radio station or the country or language of the broadcast.

You can also filter the results and view only the radio station currently on the air. For each radio station, you can view more details such as broadcast location, broadcast destination and spoken language. When the position of the transmitting site is available it is also possible to view the position on the geographical map and measure the distance from the user.
