Contact information is read from your device's address book solely to compose the message you choose to send. No data is sent to any server.

How sharing works

When you share a contact, ForwardContact passes the selected details to the native iOS sharing system (Messages, Mail) or to a third-party app (WhatsApp, Telegram) installed on your device. The transmission of that information is then handled entirely by those apps and is subject to their respective privacy policies.

QR code sharing

The QR code is generated entirely on your device and is never sent to any server. It is displayed on screen for the recipient to scan.

Network activity

ForwardContact does not connect to the internet. All operations happen locally on your device.
