      SWList does not collect, store or transmit any personal data.

      All data you enter stays on your device. No account is required. No analytics or tracking of any kind is used.

No data collection, period

We believe your privacy is a fundamental right, not a trade-off. SWList is designed from the ground up to work without knowing anything about you. Specifically, we do not:

Collect personal information such as name, email, phone number, or location
Track user behaviour, usage patterns, or app interactions
Use cookies, analytics tools, or any tracking technology
Share, sell, or transfer any data to third parties
Require user accounts, registration, or authentication
Gather device identifiers or system information

This is not just a current policy — it reflects a core design principle. We have no infrastructure to collect data, no database to store it, and no plans to change this approach.

Data stored on your device

SWList stores the following data exclusively on your device, and only at your explicit request:

EiBi and Aoki shortwave schedule databases (downloaded from their respective sources)
Your app preferences and settings
Saved frequencies or favourite stations

This data is never transmitted to any server and is not accessible to the developer. When you uninstall SWList, all locally stored data is removed with it.

Network activity

The only network connection made by SWList is to download database updates from sramp.com. These updates contain only radio station frequency information. The connection:

Is used solely for downloading updated station databases
Is initiated only when you manually check for updates
Does not send any information about you or your device
Does not use any form of user tracking or identification

Offline functionality

SWList is fully functional offline. All radio station databases are bundled with the app and all queries are processed locally on your device — no internet connection required.

Hamlib integration

When connected to a receiver running rigctld (Hamlib), the app communicates via TCP with a device on your local network only. No data is sent to the internet.

No third-party SDKs

SWList does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking service. There are no SDKs or libraries within the app that collect or transmit user data.

Children's privacy

Since SWList does not collect any personal data whatsoever, it is safe for users of all ages, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to this policy

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL. The date at the top of the page will reflect the most recent update. Our commitment to not collecting user data will not change.
