      All processing happens on your device. No account is required. No analytics or tracking of any kind is used.

Data processed on your device

SWLTools processes audio from your device's microphone or connected audio source exclusively to perform signal analysis and digital mode decoding. This audio data:

Is never recorded to disk unless you explicitly use the recording feature
Is never transmitted to any server or external service
Is not accessible to the developer in any form

Data stored on your device

SWLTools may store the following data locally on your device:

App preferences and settings (filter parameters, color themes, input source selection)
Decoded text sessions you choose to save
Waterfall recordings or images you explicitly save

This data is never transmitted outside your device and is not accessible to the developer.

Network activity

SWLTools does not connect to the internet. All features — spectrum display, waterfall, Morse decoder, WEFAX decoder, IQ analysis — work entirely offline. No data is sent to or received from any external server.

Microphone and audio access

SWLTools requires access to your device's audio input to analyze radio signals. The microphone permission is used solely for real-time signal processing within the app. Audio is never stored without your explicit action and is never transmitted.

Third-party SDKs and analytics

SWLTools does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDK. No data is shared with any third party.

Children's privacy

SWLTools does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
