SWLIST 1.4.4 Now Available on the App Store: Introducing AOKI List Support!

I’m excited to announce that the new version of SWLIST 1.4.4 is now officially available on the App Store, and it comes with a major update that many of you have been asking for.
In addition to the well-known EiBi shortwave frequency list, this release now includes full support for the AOKI frequency list!

A Journey Shaped by the Community

Since its first release, SWLIST has been warmly welcomed by the global community of radio listening enthusiasts. Your passion and feedback have been the driving force behind its evolution. Over the years, SWLIST has grown and improved—sometimes through small refinements, and other times through significant enhancements.

One of those meaningful improvements was the introduction of HamLib support, allowing SWLIST to communicate directly with your radio receiver. This feature has helped transform the app from a simple list viewer into a practical companion for real-time radio tuning.

Keeping Lists Up to Date

Throughout this journey, I’ve maintained continuous updates to the EiBi database, following every release of the original list to ensure the most accurate and up-to-date information is available to users.

However, there was one request that consistently stood out among the community:
“Can you add more frequency lists?”

The Big News: AOKI List Has Arrived

I’m happy to say — Yes!
With version 1.4.4, you can now access both the EiBi and AOKI frequency lists directly in SWLIST. This means broader coverage, more detailed information, improved frequency tracking, and a richer listening experience overall.

Whether you’re a casual listener or a serious DXer, the combination of EiBi and AOKI brings greater flexibility and more insight into the world of shortwave listening.
